the allis c with a woods l59 that i use to mow the grass up at my mother's place needs a new belt.  i'd like to get a new one before the old one breaks completely; since the old one is still on the tractor, i can't measure it.  do all L59's on allis c's use the same belt? or are there different versions of the pulley system which would call for different size belts?  if they are all the same, can someone tell me what size belt i need?...where besides a dealer is the best (read cheapest) place to get a replacement belt?  thanks  alan

Try Napa. I bought 2 for less than 100.00. I can't remember the size though... But they can look it up.

If you buy the cheapest out there you might not get a full season out of it. Last I knew the Woods belt was close to $100 but will last for quit a few seasons. I got a belt through work that has extra chords, don't know the size or manufacturer but it cost me about 1/2 what the woods belt was and has been on for 4 years now.
