I finally got the backhoe's radiator out. It could have been tougher, but it wasn't raining!
I have came to a conclusion on why it was empty and water poured out of it when filled after sitting in the garage a couple years. What do you guys think happened? |

Larry, you might get a good radiator from Worldwide parts at Bellefontaine. They have some D14's. Richard

I know what happened to my D-14 when I was getting it ready to bring to our GOTO in 2007. I was pressure washing the tractor and the stream hit the back of the radator core. Whoops. Coolant all over the ground. A call to Ron Winship and a new radiator was on its way from his supplier. Bob@allisdowneast

I was guessing here from the look of the injury, it was a caustic chemical, mouse? I'll see what the shop says today.

Mouse??!!?? I have my own mouse stories (mostly to do with motorcycles and very expensive repairs) - didn't know the wee buggers ate radiators, though. But why am I surprised? Maybe we should have a thread devoted to mouse stories..... Good luck with the rad - hope it can be repaired.

It has oil cooling built in the bottom like an auto transmission for the shuttle. The good news to taking this apart was that Dad had almost everything apart 4-5 years ago. |
