I just bought a A-C moldboard plow and I don't know what series it is, the tag is still on it and #'s are 577307-145. From the factory it was a 4 bottom but it has a plow removed from it. Can anyone tell me what series plow this is? Thanks again.

BV - That was originally a Model 84 4 bottom fully mounted plow.  Someone removed the last bottom to make it a 3 bottom plow.   It has the later style single arm style coulters that my 74 mounted 3 point plow has.

You 175 will handle it with ease.  It would have handled 4 bottoms too.  Mike

I agree it looks like an 84 with a bobbed tail. Coulters and bottoms got used on many plow frames, coulters were more universal even that bottoms. The coulters on my 2000 monobeam plow look just like those coulters.

BV - yes you'll want a back gauge wheel since your last bottom doesn't have a long slip-heel type landslide on it.  Mike
