Today I put the front mounted snowblower on the front of my 620 since I bought the package 5 years ago. However I have a problem. The hydraulic cylinder does not lift up the snow blower, it only pushes it on the ground more (raising the front axle off the ground). I tried switching the hose connections at the front of the tractor, but it makes no difference.
The remote ends on the tractor are brand new and the balls on the male connectors move when pushed (one squirts oil out, the other doesn't). It seems the lift control does not do any thing when you move it to the lift position (pull back towards the operator). It works in the lower position. However, there were times that the cylinder would not move when set in the float position. To me, it sounds like a problem with the connections at the front of the tractor. Any Ideas? |

You should have oil flow out each when you move control valve to either position. If you don't, Valve has a problem. Which is odd for spool type valve.

Problem solved! One of the hose couplers on the snow blower was slightly shorter and would not fit into the remote all the way. I like easy fixes!
