Hey Dave! That looks like a nice unit! I'd take the chains off before you go in the lawn with it. Might be a little rough on the corners ya know... LOL! Well, its not like you don't know much about em' now! Good luck with it man!

Looks good. How'd you ever work out buying one only an hour from home? I had to go 900 miles one way for mine.
You have learned a tremendous amount about these units on your first one. Will be really nice, I bet, to have this one you can just jump on and go mow.

Macvette, I found this one on craigslist, had been on there quite a while. The other one I have OPSheads pointed me to in Anamosa, again within an hour of home.

David,
If you take the starter off the engine, make sure that you bench run the engine before putting it back in. There is enough slop in the bolt holes that the starter will grind and make an awful racket. Don't ask how I know this. Den |

Nice find david!
I too am waiting for my 720 wiring harness, ignition switch, lollipop tail lights, battery cables and some other misc. electrical parts from Steve at B&B. I think they will arrive early next week. My 720 is now getting painted and will be re-assembling soon. Hope to have it ready for summer shows. I hope my 720 with the Ark 700 loader will come together without any hitches.

With all the help and information that you fellers supply, we'll have these machines down pat just about! Special thanks to you guys Dave, Mike, Den, Myron & Darryl! We're all workin' together here sharin' information, and learnin' all at the same time! LOL! Mike, your goodie box should be arriving anytime if it hasn't already. These specific Tractors are in a league of their own. I found that out pretty quickly..
Steve@B&B BTW, thank you for the nice words you guys. Its appreciated! |

Dave,
Looks like you have that high heat wrap on the muff! Does that work pretty good keeping the heat off the hood? Den, again, great information on the Starter. Ya know, I didn't do that! The motor isn't bolted in the frame yet. I'll havta do a quick test. I love that saying: "don't ask how I know this"... LMAO!! Steve@B&B |

Steve, the exhaust wrap was already on when I bought it so I can't really tell you. I just know the hood is not baked above the muffler
