I have a 715B Backhoe/Loader that is shutting off after running for some time. It requires time to cool off before restarting again. I have read that some believe this to be a fuel pump issue. When I called the parts shop they asked me if I was replacing the Lift Pump ($39) or Injection Pump (Rebuilding needed)? Can anyone help me answer this question or have a fix to this problem? Additionally, I have also read that others have experienced dark smoke when initially starting the 715, that goes away after a few minutes of running (as mine does). Some mention a long term solution of replacing the Fuel Injectors, does anyone know where these can be purchased with the other parts I might require to fix the initial problem posed above?
Thank you in advance. |
