There is a 41 B Dozer listed for sale on Craigslist Yoopers. The pictures look pretty good. It is supposed to be an estate sale.

The 41B doesn't look like a HD41, maybe a HD14?  Wonder how much they are asking for it, not that I need, can afford or really want it. lol

Maybe it's just the camera angle but looking at my Oct page of the AC connection calender, the crawler in the CL pictures sure looks small compared to the picture on the calender. The tree in the foreground may be part of the problem, it could be bigger then it looks.

I have a hard time with the A/C stuff, not very familiar with them. I usually look at the seat, and how far you have to climb to get to it. That there is a BIG dozer and oooooh! what a backhoe! I think I'm getting all hot and bothered!

The first tractor is a 41B.  The original design HD41 had  two stacks and a Buda motor I believe... That was about 1968. By 1973 or so the tractor was renamed 41B and came with a 1710 Cummins V12 motor about 525 HP with a weight of around 70 tons. WIth a BIG ripper you could get around 80 tons working weight. The one in the photo has a winch on the back. The backhoe boom is a different tractor parked behind it. There was no hoe  made for the 41B.  Fiat bought into Allis about 1974. They renamed the tractor FD50 about  1980.  They stopped production at the Springfield Ill Plant about 1985.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
