anyone seen the article by "machinery pete" in the sucessful farming magazine?...There was a couple of 8070 with hours in the low 3000's bring close to $33,000 at a farm auction back in december in WCIL. He also mentioned that a 7060 brought $13,000 and that was the highest he had seen one sell for at a sale in almost ten years. Guess our orange still hold its value pretty good. These tractors were in very good condition, still beats having to cough up money for something new, I still say the 8000 series would have gave the other guys some really strong competiton if Deutz had not messed that up. Our neighbor admits our 8070 out performs his 4960 on a 27' caseIH 496 disk with McFarlane harrow behind it. Dad couldn't believe what they still can bring, he than proceeded to ask me what he thought ours was worth?...wonder what he's thinking now?!!..LOL...I know one thing he definetly is not going to go out and buy a "legacy" AGCO!!!..LOL...maybe add another 8070 to our fleet!!!
