7010-20-30-40 have the slowest final drives and are all the same. The 7045-50-60 are faster/fastest and are all the same. Ring and pinion ratios the same for ALL of them, but 7045-50-60 have wider/longer teeth compared to 7010 thru 7040. Range trans gears all the same for Power Director trans. Power Shift range trans are 20% faster in high range over Power Director high range.

Somewhere along the powerdirector highside gearing was changed, by one tooth to speedup highside. hollow shaft 28 teeth to 29 teeth, countershaft gear 39 teeth to 38 teeth.

When the 7040-60-80's were introduced, the input shafts (2) and countershaft driven gears(2) were changed speeding up everything equal amounts. The 7030-7050's have unique parts when it comes to those input shafts/countershaft gears.

So if you put a power shift rearend tractor on the back of a power shift tractor. You will run 20% faster ???? Will it bolt up ? So I could run down the road at 24-25 mph IG
