Great looking 170xt! Did you use a 433T or 433I engine? I'm guessing you used a gleaner K2 433T? Was it very difficult to marry up the clutch/transmission housing bolts? Did you use the existing front hydraulic pump on tractor or use an engine driven hydraulic pump mounted on left side of front plate? Are your rear tires 30"?

motor is out of a combine and is turbo and intercooled. had to make a spacer plate because clutch shaft was 1.75 too long and I used a 190 flywheel and clutch. had to make a new adapter for front pump. alternator moved to right side. used 180 water pump housing. tires are 18.4 28.

The motor is out of a combine and it is turbo intercooled. I had to make a spacer plate cuz the clutch shaft was 1-3/4" too long. I made an adapter for the front hydraulic pump and used a 190 fly wheel and clutch. It has a 180 water pump housing and a 60/80 exhaust manifold. It has 18.4 28 tires.

From viewing the changed color of the chrome exhaust stack, I imagine you have put it under load to see how it compares for pulling?? Was the original engine a 226 gas or 248 perkins?

A model 170 with 16.9 x 28 rear tires at 2,000 rpm does 15 mph...........at 2400 rpm it would do 18 mph............18.4 x 28's would be more than that.

Nice install! Looks like it came from the factory that way. Have you had her on a dyno yet, if so what HP did it show?

Flywheel was 95 HP, so PTO should be around 83 HP at 2,200 RPM (725 RPM PTO speed).

Good Looking set up. I can't quit chuckling at the comment about it being underpowered before with the 226 gas. My guess is you have twice the torque if not three times as much as the gas. You probably do notice it being a little more power. rw
