I just purchased a H3, looks & runs pretty good,
I sent for manuals for it so I can service it properly, I am rebuilding carb. right now, was wondering where the Ser. #"s might be someone said on the left side, on the trans? haven"t found them yet. . how do I match the yellow paint on it? Re: finding the serial #, it's found on the left side of the machine where the torque tube meets the engine block.....on the approx. 1" wide flat and sloping surface ......hope you know what I mean. You'll need to clean the surface .....even sanding a bit will make the numbers show up, good luck!
