With the ball hitch for Allis pull type equipment I wonder if there was a tractor that came up a little short on their PTO shaft.
Anybody know if Jeep PTO was standard from the shaft to the drawbar? |

PTO extension for the Farmall F-20 tractors so they could operate AC equipment like the Allcrops, hayrakes, etc. The PTO's were tucked way under the differential. How many more do you need?

You know, when I saw it I recall when we hooked up a few combines to F-20 Farmalls. They had the pto connection with the belt pulley under the transmission. This extension allowed the F-20 to pull the combine without problem and made it an A.S.A.E standard hitch.
You know too, we loved to put the F-20 on the combine. Why, cause it went so slow. Had absolutely no problems. With the WC there was always some "speed demon" who wanted to run the combine in THIRD GEAR! In very light grain you could get away with it but not in heavier grain. The F-20 gears were slower and worked GREAT on the 60 All Crop. A real memory jolt and a piece of history. Thanks for sharing. Good Luck! Bill Long |

We used to have a guy do custom silo filling for us. He had and allis blower with the power unit on it and I remember that it had the same ball hitch.
