Hey guys. Is there any rule of thumb when it comes to the tilt of a corn head? Can't seem to find anything in our operators manual about it. We have an R72 with a newer 12R 22" head and it seems to be leaned forward too far. We have turn-buckles on the throat of the combine which are almost out all the way. Just looking for an idea of how far should I tip it back?? Thanks!!

I have a R52 with the adjustable header mount on the feeder house. Our setting for the corn head is almost as far back as it will go on the top. It is tilted as close to level as we can get it. Like the job the flex head does with it tilted as far out (forward) as it will go...sometimes when going from from to beans in the same day it gets forgotten, but as soon as we start in the field it gets changed.
