I have a 51 WD that I put back together about 10 yrs ago, it had spent the previous 25 yrs in my uncles barn without moving. It has always leaked a little gear lube, but in the last year, the amount seems to be increasing. I've intalled new gaskets on the sheet metal plate under the trans itself, the rear cover, and the PTO to the trans gasket. Also Teflon taped the threads on the drain plugs. Cleaned it up and still have a drip from somewhere above the snap coupler, as it gradually drains off the bell. Doesn't seem to be coming from the PTO box, although disassymbling and replacing the oil seals in PTO itself is probably my next move. Any suggestions, comments or gaskets I missed?

I have a leak in mine around the hand clutch shaft, runs down and is hard to tell where it is coming from but think I narrowed it down to that shaft.

I believe the housing splits just ahead of the snap coupler mount, which means alot of disassembly to fix
