Is a wide front axle from a "C" the same as what a "CA" uses?

The reason I ask is that I have seen 2 different types of wide fronts. The adjustable wide fronts look nearly identical the best I remember.

Have seen CAs with the C wide front under them; they had the C front steering box without the front implement bosses. Can't say that the C wide front would bolt up to the CA steering gear tho.

I have found a adjustable wide front from a C that I can get really cheap and was wondering if it would fit my CA. Sounds like it would be more trouble than its worth.

It's really not a bad job. I did this on my CA. I took the needed parts out of the C steering box and put them into my CA box so as to retain the front bosses.

There are differences between the C and CA wide fronts, but they are so minute that most would not notice.

If you can get a c wide front real cheap, take it whether you need it or not. Good trading stock or easy to sell.

C parts will bolt to CA bolster and vice versa. They are different but, are interchangeable.
