I am not completely sure if the all crop w. the corn head was a 66 or a 60. Pretty rusty in a few places. Rough to me means original paint,unrestored and needing a few repairs to properly function. Prices were pretty reasonable for the most part. Someone stole that 100 SP for 650 ran and worked. Problem with the big stuff is what the heck do you do with it

I thought I bought the SP 100 for 600 I wanted to bid again but hauling was a problem for me, The 35 picker was junk and the 60 all crop with head was really bad needed too much work on the head. Every thing was frozen solid on it all the shafts and roller chains, I was in on that to but again the hauling was my problem 130 miles from home. I wanted the 35 for parts for mine but what I wanted was bad. The elevator had been dented and was rusted out, I weanted the paddles in the head but was not worth that for me to buy. I thought the combines were all very rough also, Yhe 72 was missing all the cylinder bars

I did not get the mans name that got the 100. But did talk to him as we both were looking at the combines. He has another 100 and lives southeast of Terre Haute. I think he said he had one of each of the all crop combines. I should have got his name. If anyone knows him pm me or e-mail me as I would like to go see his items.

I sold Larry the A several years ago. It has a good engine with 5 1/4 pistons. It has 18.4-30 rear tires, a 25-40 front axle with cut down rims. Someone had put hyd. on it with power steering. Also wrong radiator. It is a good basic tractor but would take a lot of money to get it to original.

I looked at my notes and my 9 looks like a 4 , yes 1975 is what the LP 45 brought. Tried to write down as many as possible. Some times all you have to go by is what the auct. is asking for,not kowing what the last bid was

I thought 4100 for the A was cheap also however I wasn't there and it's amazing how prices seem low on the auctions you don't make it to.  However, it seems the auction was well attended, and, second guessing eyes at the scene is not worth the effort.  I was at a large auction and most of the tractors offered had something that was not correct and not an easy replacement for a collector and the clammoring from people who were not there was tremendous over what they thought were low prices.  That's the uniqueness of an auction, there is always one item that brings way more than expected and one that usually brings way less than expected.  Seems I'm always after the one that brings way more!!!

 What I took from that sale. The older stuff isnt gaining anything in value, but the tractors from the 60's are really strong. I would have loved to have that D21,it was my Dads. But after you put 10,000 in it. Would it be worth 23,500 ? It would be hard to get it out of it. Same with the 19 it was straight, but restore it right, and your would have 15000 in it. People will give more for a tractor in its work cloths then one completely restored. The deal of the day I thought was the restored WD45 for 2700.

If they would have sold the 19 after the 21 it would have brought more, cause I would have bid on it then.....lol  

I agree with you on that farmtoybuilder. I watched that A sell thought it was a little cheap. But I never once thought I would bid on it. Those older tractors just dont interest me. Just like cars. A 37 coupe no interest. but roll out a 69 camaro now your talkin

Thanks for posting! I was doing a decent job of writing prices down until I bought my WC and got distracted. The Case D really surprised me for selling that high. I think there were a little over 200 bidders at the auction from the numbers that I saw. Weather was pretty darn good. In general, the parts were selling under street value. Most of the trailer plows were pretty rough. I think most of the tractor prices provided a good reality check, but maybe it's just my area? I do agree that a few tractors - like the A - may have sold slightly low.

there was 273 numbers out my brother and my wife's uncle was biding her uncle got it $1300 i delivered it this afternoon it came from the old quarter midget track in Casey where the pulling track is now
