We have had hardly any snow this winter or much cold weather. The fields are mostly bare around here. First winter in memory that I haven't had to plow any snow!!! Winter wheat took a hit from some very cold temps a couple of weeks ago with no snow cover. It's good for livestock producers as their feed costs will be way down this winter.

we've rec'd eight to nine inches east of Lincoln in the Eagle area.  still snowing.  made it into town, but had to use 4x4 all the way.  we're without power since 6 this morning.  not surprising, as we frequently lose it.  we're on the far west edge of the OPPD service area.  go a mile east, and they have power.

We haven't got hardly anything left up here in Western Wisconsin.  Haven't had any since??  Makes me wonder what next spring and summer are going to be like?  The Farmers Almanac said that we were supposed to get an above average snowfall and above average temps.  So far they got half of it right...  Close to 50 again today.

We are way behind on snow fall this year------like maybe 10% of normal.  We had a 3-5 inches a week ago in a couple of snow falls, but most of that is now gone.  We are going to need some good spring rains-------especially in SW Minnesota.

9 miles south of the Boondocks, I've not detected a snow flake. It rained late yesterday and that froze overnight about 1/64 th inch thick.

We 've gotten about 8 inches in southwest Omaha, Seems to have stopped now. I plowed with my 45D and rear blade late this afternoon. Was surprised how much traction I could get on the wet pavment.

news said 11" in Lincoln

Spent 4 hrs today on own and neighbors' driveways and the street too with the JD & snowblower.  HEAVY wet stuff comin down all day.  Killed off the engine countless times.  And of course the battery isnt up to snuff on it, so had to trot (ok, walk..) back to get the pickup for a boost.

We got 22" on Friday, the total for the season is 81", which is 25' more then a normal season.  Snowing tonight but only an inch or two.  More snow down here then in the mountains!  Before the snow last week I could have been doing field work.

So far here in New Joisey the last snow we got was a month ago. Bout' 6", but it didn't stay around to long. Ground is still warm and it melts quick which is okay with me! Only used the 716H once so far this year. Temps all Winter have been around 45-50 degree's. Incrediable for around here. Usually, right now this time of year, it's 5 degree's, not 45. As long as Alberta Phil doesn't get anything, niether will we! Canada always sends their weather our way seems.... You behave up there Phil! LOL!
