ok, im curious.  is the 230 gas block different from a 230 diesel block?   i have seen wd45 diesels advertised with craked blocks.  is it possible to use the gas block?  probably not or they would be getting fixed  i have a 230 gas from A2 combine but no buda block to compare

I know that the 262 gas and diesel blocks are the same. Neighbour just rebuilt his D-19 D and the block was bad so they found and used a gas block. I don't know about the 230 but the same should be true. If you use the gas block, it will have only one oil filter.
Nothing is impossible if it is properly financed

230 out of an A2 is a newer version of the 230, same block as 262 gas and diesel, has the o-ring grooves in the block instead of on the sleeve like the WD45D 230. You would have to use the sleeves that are in the gas block, there are other things that you would have to do also, notch frame rail for the full flow oil filter or remote mount it, there is no pivot shaft on the newer block for the throttle linkage bellcrank or what ever you want to call it,water pump opening in gas block will need to be blocked off, there is probably other things I am not thinking of right now, but it can be done, just won't look original.

There are some old 230 gas blocks that has the castings on the block for the two oil filters.
If any one needs one I have one for sale.  MACK
