I have an M&W "Add-Power" piston which came out of a WD.
However, the number is AP-46, not SP-46.
It is a crater style piston, 1/8" oversize.
Maybe the SP stands for standard size?

I bought a WD for parts about 10 yrs ago. The P.O. had had the engine rebuilt but he left it out and the engine seized. He hired a neighbor kid to get it unsieized for him.
First thing the kid did was pull the head. He found this particulat cylinder slightly rusted up so he pulls the piston. Then, he never got back to finish the job and the P.O. didn't have brains enuf to put some oil in the remaining cylinders, pu the head back on and cover it well. So, when I picked up the tractor, this piston was in his garage just the way it came out. I notice that all but the top ring are seized but I don't think that is a big problem. As you can see (and as the P.O. told me) this piston has almost no wear.
PM me if you are interested and we'll talk price. Edited by Brian G. NY - 08 Feb 2012 at 9:02am |

I've posted many pics on here before and they never showed up with that damnable red X before. I can never open pics with the red X (I guess I don't have the right program or something) so I hope you are able to open them.
