That's an interesting one ! Description says steel rice tires ? It looks like it is a reverse drive rig ? Don't see any clutch or brake pedals ?

It would be intersting to know what that thing was built for. I know my 6'6", 300# frame would not fit in the operater's area very well

Not too far from WhoVille. Prob used in the rice farms around Upper Red Lake. I think they just farm wild rice there, not white rice. I know a they have had a rough couple of years there, lack of rain was a problem a couple years ago.
Maybe Mark L or Bruce will run up and take a look.........
cheers,
Creek

Wow....can't really think of anything else to say...
Looks like it was operated reversed, but i'm not sure how you would tow an implement. Maybe something was mounted off the rear, which is now the front. Still havent found the brakes, clutch, or hand clutch. Any guesses on those?

I didn't do it! It was a short, fat, tall, skinny guy that looked like me!

That happens to be a Knoedler seat. The slots on either side of the mounting strap are for toolboxes. I have one tool box with my seat off the WC. Here is a picture of a refinished complete seat with the company logo. You can see the hole in the back of the toolbox for the grease gun hose to hang out. ![]() Here is a restored UC with a similar seat but it doesn't look just like the Knoedler seat. ![]() Here is another UC seat. These may have been made by Knoedler for the UC but are different than the aftermarket seats used on many different tractors. |
