   I'm definitely not the best with computers.  My question is....How do I get this thing to arrange posts chronologically and not the most recent reply?  Thanks in advance.

	i think that might be the standard now. on a few other sites, they all work this way, most recent at the top. I think the software is setup that way. May not be able to change.

	i'm not 100% sure, but this seems to work for me. on the right side of the screen it lists the time when the last reply was added to a post. the posts are listed chronologically in descending order....so, i scroll thru the posts until i reach the last time that i was on the forum. so if its now 800 in the morning, and i last looked at the forum at 4 pm yesterday afternoon, i go down thru the posts until i reach the point where the latest response is prior to 4 pm yesterday. i think that way i have all new posts and all new replys covered......if there's a flaw in my system, please let me know so i can figure out a new method..... alan

	When on the main forum page, click on "New Posts" at the top right. Once you've done this, a drop-down menu box will show up at the top left of the list of posts. From this drop-down box, you can select how long you want to go back into the new posts. You can see new posts within the last 2 hours all the way up to the last several days.

	Actually that doesn't seem to help much. Once I did it myself I realized that it just goes by the most recent reply. Not very helpful after all. Darin, can you give us the scoop on this?

	I think I have figured out part of the sorting feature, but it still is not what most are wanting to see! I'll try to explain : At the top of the page is "Topics / Topic Starter" if you click on "Topics", a yellow arrow appears, you can click on the arrow to change the way it is pointing, up or down indicating ascending or descending sorting order of the posted subject alphabetically or numerically by the first letter or number in the subject title. Works the same for "Topic Starter" except it sorts the authors user name the same way. I havent figured how to sort the subjects date but i aint giving up yet! Got be a way. It is probably going to take Darin adding a "Dates" sort option! Same operation applies to "Replies", "Views" and "Last Post". The "Last Post" column will sort by date/time. I think this column should be labeled Last Replies also. JMHO. Also to the right of the info in the "Last Post" column beside the date is an arrow pointing to the right, clicking the arrow takes you to the first unread reply since you last opened that "Topic". Maybe this is clear as mud!! Searching aint near as fun as reading! Maybe Darin isn't finished fine tuning!!! Post if this helps or if you have it figured out differently. Eric in Tn.
