just got a 190 diesel home. Was told it is just a 190, but the tractor serial # is 24505xtd. SO what is it ????????????   a g2800 engine and no turbo if the turbo was the detemaning factor and doesn't look like one was taken off. Looks to be real straight and not worn out. Since it is a flat back that eleminates some of the ppossible  history of heavy plowing. Any  thoughts will help.. Tman

Without a turbo it's a 190 not an xt. Is it possible that the engine is a transplant?

SN says it was an XT diesel. G2800 is a gas engine. Something has changed.

G2800 = gas 301, right?  If so, that would be a 190xt gasser, but the serial number ending in xtd would be a diesel xt, right?  Maybe it was originally a diesel 190xt and had a gas 301 transplanted into it?

Hurst - or it was a 190XT gas originally and a torque tube/rear end was swapped in from an XT diesel tractor.   Mike
