Here you go James. It's an early 1968 B-112. Some assembly required. LOL!
I like to think of it as an "exploded view". LOL!

Think this may take more than a couple of hours. : ) I do have all of the parts, though. I also have the mower deck and a 32" rototiller for it. In the process of rounding up new belts, seals, bearings, etc. Maybe one day i'll get around to putting some of it together.
My advice to you is to take time and get involved/stay involved in projects like this while you're still young. When you get to the 20s/30s, you will be busy building/having a life and family. You're at a good age to really learn a lot and enjoy things like this, especially if you have someone you think a lot of to spend some time doing it with you. Sorry for the long reply and the sentimental musing, but i've been thinking about my grandad a lot lately, and how I wish I could have had more time to do things like that with him.

The 312 is currently being restored and the 720 is on lawn duty for the most part. Mows about 4 acres each week.

This first little guy, is an Allis 405. Kinda looks alot like a minature "G". Its basically a glorified push mower with a seat on it, and it is all original paint. Think dad paid around $50-100 bucks for this one.
This 916 hydro dad bought for $50 bucks. Original paint, other than the deck, and the wheels. Also replaced the headlights.

Before going to a compact tractor my last garden tractor was a Cub Cadet 982, it was in rough shape when I bought it. Went through it pretty much front to back.

This tractor was repowered with 18 HP B&S and a new lift lever was added for the mower before I sold it to a friend who took it down to Texas

I would love to post to this subject but am a little ashamed. I use my horses and goats for most of the mowing and the lawnmower I have is so much older than me that I think they stopped selling it before I was born and it is not an AC. It's a M-W and I would love to see if anyone knows what I am talking about. She runs great and cuts the grass real well if I can keep ahead of the rain. I would trade her for an AC but I don't think anyone would have the guts to take her. Besides, the AC is worth A LOT more than this old thing. I would send pics but I don't think the website can handle my pixles since it couldn't do it with my pics of my tractor and mower.

I like the 620 and 720. They look like the fullsize tractors, not
so much a lawn mower look. Are they readily fixable/maintainable and practical? For pasture mowing. If the motor is shot, could a 2 cylynder Kawasaki water cooled be installed?

This is my 716H when I first purchased it. Pretty rough around the edges, and very, very rusty to say the least. Engine ran, but not well. Hood cut up for exhaust.

Here is the 716H after a one year resto with a lot of new additions. Tailights, 4 way flashers, .030 over Kohler, E.I., high back seat for the backside, electric lift, ATV rear tires, wider rear wheels, NOS hour meter & Hood, AC Dozer blade, and Allis Orange. The decals on the hood were designed for Model G. Boy, can this ole' girl push snow! Whew!! She saved my butt this past Winter. Going to pickup a B-110 this Sunday....
