My One-Ninety is finally done. This project started back on December 9th of 2009 and I just finished tightening the last bolt last Saturday around 2:30 p.m. It has been a long drawn out project and at times I didn't think it would ever get done do to lack of time and money or being able to find parts. This tractor has been gone through back to front, if it needed it, it got it, if it didn't need it, it still got it in most cases. Most of you have followed the progress I think and know what it has been through, it was basically a complete basket case when we got it opened up. I knew it would be bad, but even I was surprised at what was all wrong inside. Since it's been done, it's been used already a few times loading out grain and I pulled a load of beans to town with it also. It has very good power and handled the load of grain great and am looking forward to using it some more. I tried to get this tractor restored as close to possible to original condition, minus the chrome straight pipe. I do have the correct roller hitch assemble for it for shows, but when hauling things I prefer the later style hitch to eliminate the swaying back and forth that seems to happen with the roller style hitch. Here are some photo's I took yesterday...
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I did get done in time with it to make it to my parade yesterday, here is entry #98 in the parade...
![]() ![]() Now with the One-Ninety done, it's on to my A-C planter project.
Just wanted to share. Thanks.

When you said "...restored to original condition..." you weren't kidding! Even the INDAK key (how many still have some?). I am in awe of the fine work you've done. It reminds me of being back at my Dad's dealership in 1967. Great job and congratulations! Brian F(IL) |

That's a very early 190, notice the old emblem on the grill? I have one similar, serial #2600 with the old style emblem and a snap coupler hitch.

Is there more than 1 trans for a 190 or are 190 trans different from a 190xt? In his picture of the shift pattern 3rd and 5th are together and 6th and 4th are together. On my 64 190xt diesel 3rd and 4th are together and 5th and 6th are together.
