Can the OEM front weights for WD & D series fit on the WD45 diesel? If so what is the correct factory installation of the weights? I have searched the internet and no luck.. Any help is greatly appreciated..

Slab weights won’t fit on a diesel. Not enough shelf.

None of the D series have any "shelf".

I'm not WD45 diesel fan, but maybe the extra weight of the 6-cylinder engine and two front wheel donut weights accomplishes about the same thing as a gas tractor with slab weights ??

Easy enough to make a weight bracket similar to what is on the D Series

True. They have brackets that bolt to the frame rails. For a 45 diesel, a bracket would have to be fabbed up, there is no factory weight bracket for that tractor. |
