Dr Allis, it is the same tractor. Wanted to have a good one on hand if this one is bad. Got to take some sheet metal off to get to it. Thanks, Tracy

Tracey, I could order the other end that goes to the sump. I thought after 50 years the pump end would be bad too, but it looked like new, no sun shine on it I guess. I was told pump end rubber piece is no longer available from Agco. I took the sump pan off to check and clean the screen. That pan weighs 20 something pounds, and its not very big. Today it would be just stamped steel. Tim

Tim, I ordered the gaskets and stepped rubber hose at pan. Was your filter screen dirty? Tractor has just over 500 hours on it. Thanks, Tracy

Yes I had pieces of two different types of gasket sealer, and metal chips. I'll make the reason for the chips real short. The drain plug bolt for the sump is the long one, and the plug for the transmission drain cover is the short plug. These are 7/8" NCT, that rely on the plastic washer for sealing. Well someone put the long bolt in the trans drain cover. The noise I could hear while moving, was the long bolt rubbing against the pto gear. Its all good now, nice and quiet.
