I have seen limited interest in the 780/782 forage harvester on this site over the years. It is a rare specimen!! Here is one of the threads which may help you in your search. I think there have been other threads over the years Also, the Yesterdays Tractors site has some interesting threads (and potential leads) In case you didn't know, Ford marketed a 680 forage harvester that was identical to the AC 780/782 When you noted interest in a "hay head" were you referirng to the pickup head or the direct cut head? Good luck with your search PS I have a 780 with one row corn head and direct cut head, but not quite ready to part ways with it yet. Perhaps in a few years. I will not sell the unit, but will donate to someone who will keep it from the scrap man. The Dealer I purchased the 780 from used to have two pickup heads, and one two row corn head in his "bone yard". Unfortunately, they are located near Kingston, Ontario, Canada, a long way from Wisconsin. I could verify if still available should you have any interest.
