"DC" is a 4-roller .310" diameter pump.

Should be fine and overfueled. Drive shaft end is splined, so you have to find a DC shaft the right length. There are two shaft length possibilities.

You will have to talk to a pump station - the drive shaft for the 426 is too long as there is a spacer there. I would suggest asking Ed as he would have the #. I got one thru the old Columbus diesel many decades ago after discovery of the drive issue. Ed Elgin and Nobel Harrison set up a many 'floating head roosas' in the late 60-early 70's. They had a special cam ring - some used a .35" head - removed the transfer pump and delivery valve - and ran a Barnes fuel supply pump at 150 psi . The front thrust button was removed and a bolt was installed via welded nut to serve as a thrust stop for the gear. they also had the leaf springs and shoes modified to give max piston travel w/o getting the short piston cross ways seized. They also had half ,I think, of the gov weights removed. These ran successfully and won a few classes at NFMS. Of course they were no match for the inline A & P pumps that followed. Imagine, .31 plungers pumping for 6 cylinders vs one .7 " + plunger per cylinder today - quite an increase eh?
