This might be opening up a can of worms asking for opinions, but it seems there are 2 different clutch disc available for the 45. One being a fabric style and the other a 4-pad. The 4-pad seems like it may hold up to more power though. The engine will have the 4-1/8 overbore sleeves and pistons so it may have a few more horses then when new.
Does anyone have experience with these in a 45? Thanks

How are you going to use the tractor ?? Those button clutches are made for more grabbing power with the same diameter/size and squeeze on the clutch disc. There's no need for that unless you have a pulling tractor that makes 75 or more HP. The button style discs are very hard on the flywheel and pressure plate surfaces over time as they eat away the metal. You do however want a 9-spring pressure plate for any WD-45.

I have one like above on my 45 diesel repower with no problems. Dynoed at 91 hp.
