I’m considering selling this to make room for other projects. Not sure how the tractor market is these days, and I’ve done a lot of work to this one. So, I’m not looking to give it away. Anyway, what’s your thoughts on value of a ‘66 D17 series IV, gas, snap coupler, unknown original hours. Runs and drives super well. New radiator, foot clutch, brakes, all fluids/filters changed recently, power director inspected and shimmed to spec, front bolster and steering gone through and resealed, etc etc. Could use a good paint job, has a few leaks still, but a pretty damn nice working tractor with good sheet metal. We all know you can wrap up a ton of money in these if you’re fixing one up. What’s a fair asking price for one that’s a long way towards being fixed up already?

To quote my Grandpa "If that were mine and you were sitting on a feather we'd both be tickled! Big smile

I wouldn't take less than $4500 if I were selling it.

I agree with Les, especially with those tires.
The Series IV are worth more, because of the hydraulic system.
