Bought my 5th G this evening. Only 5 miles from my place. It has a neat homebuilt blade with two way hydraulics for up/down and side to side tilt. Runs off the factory pump, also has the belt pulley drive. It has been converted to 12V and alternator, someone did a nice job modifying the rear shroud for it.

What was the previous use for this machine? Grading dirt/snow removal?

The seller bought it back in '93 and built the blade for it. This is the snow blade, he also had a serrated dirt blade and made a bracket that holds a 4' front blade (works opposite of the belly blade). One bolt and the blade will come off, leaving a tool bar that can be tilted side to side. I plan on making a set of cultivators like I already have and use them on the toolbar...I have times now when one side digs and the other doesn't, the tilt feature will solve that problem. It also has down pressure, so I won't have to stand on the cultivator to get it to dig.

Gerald, I must have some good schedule 40 pipe fittings on my 45 cause when I had ny pump rebuilt with a new relief spool, it wasn't machined properly. I blew out a 5000 psi gauge testing it. When I put a 10,000 psi gauge on it, it final bypassed at over 9,000. I took it back apart and found the problem and repaired it. The relief spool came from AGCO and there was a 1/4 inch deep c'bore missing which made it work like you added a 1/4 inch of shim to the relief. She's runnin about 2800 now. My traction boost gauge don't work anymore now. It's kinda stuck 3/4 of the way up. Charlie

Gerald there is no pressure on those fittings...it is just the (dump) return line to the tranny.

Pretty neat Eldon, quite a setup. Now I want to see you out in a blizzard pushing snow with that and not in one of your bigger AC's that have a cab. LOL

Yeah,Steve,I was thinking the same thing! I think it'll work better for him as a cultivating tractor also,'cause he'd be burnin' that clutch out pushing as much snow as he gets out there! LOL! Rick
