Part number 317496 is the guide that holds the  grass tube in place for an all crop drill. It is long unavailable. However Alex at a&w has found a company that will make a run of them. I have a couple of people lined up but I need to sell 18 more to have enough for an order. Here is the down side, they are expensive: 160 each. It is a heavy wire and I guess the type of bends are difficult. Any interest let me know. thank

You had me interested right up until you posted the price! There is one or two still in one piece on my drill. Has to be a cheaper alternative out there. I don't use the small grain box so it's not terribly concerning.

Not to steal the thread,I looked at my drills. I can't see that wire costing that much. Post a pic of the part you were needing. I am sure it is something I can do. Thanks, Tracy

I just saw this post when researching how to get this part.  Here is what it looks like in the parts manual.

I was able to help Dr p out with at new set of guide wires for his new grain drill seed tubes that he got from alex in wisc, please do not ask to post photos of the guide wires that I made because I have failed so many times at trying to post pictures that I have given up. Maybe Dr p will read this and post pictures and how they are working for him, The new seed tubes from alex are great, they are a bit larger than the original tubes but that is ok. so I made dr p the new guides to fit the tubes better, hopefully dr p will chime in on the guides
