I'm working on a 2006 Honda ridgeline with a 3.5 liter motor. It come to me with a miss and the customer wanted plugs and coils. 200k on the clock it probably should have them. Pit them in and no improvement.i can see cylinder 1,3, and 6 have the missfires. I'm thinking of doing a injector leak down and measure the ohms of the injectors. Is there an easier way other then removing the intake.

What is left out of the delivery on these is that Routine Maintenance as Valve Lash(Extremely Complex of Asian Engines) and looking to Fuel Management Controls is not typical any longer.  All average techs want to do is throw parts as Plugs, Coils, readily changed pieces as to fixes that generally do not fix anything.  Takes a Mechanic that has been around these engines for Time and has a Base of knowledge to use as to the fixes.  Unless have a laptop to discover 'Moving' or Random codes due to a deeper issue then are just playing games.

Then is the Customer that wants and expects a cheap money repair with instant gratification that does not happen.  This was NOT a Cheap Fix labor wise.  A GM Four Cylinder with a Flattening Cam Lobe dealt myself similar issues.
