So I installed my traction booster drawbar on my 220. I just got this tractor running and don't think the traction booster works properly.
Who has instructions on the traction booster drawbar operation?
I had the 3 point lever forward with the arms down and moved the depth control lever back. I heard a valve click and it started raising the arms. They just kept coming up and when I tried to push the control levers down it made no difference. It happened so fast it snapped the draw bar off before I could get the tractor shut down.

Sounds like you have rusty/sticking position control linkage and the plunger was pushed in fully and then (if you moved position control lever back forward) wouldn't release.  Using the position control lever for that task was (I think) a bad idea, because the position control will try and raise the arms all the way to the top if you pull all the way back on the lever. The Traction Booster lever would have only brought the arms up half-way at best if the linkage was working correctly.  I don't think they sold a ton of those drawbars. Always looked to me like there was tremendous strain on the implements tongue and the tractors drawbar end.

Here are some photos of the TB Drawbar we had on the XT.  Remember that the tractor drawbar needs to be un-pinned under the belly, so it floats fore and aft.  The pull of the implement will be on the lift arms.  
Use the TB position on the lift arms lever.   This allows the arms to lift as the load increases as the implement pulls on the lift arms.  Use the Traction Booster Lever to control this amount.  This is what transfers some of the weight of the implement to the tractor to gain traction.  
Position Control MUST be set to allow arms to be all the way down.  Put in place some mechanical lockout device to make sure the PC lever cannot be moved.  Also affix some mechanical lock out type device on the console so the Lift Lever cannot be moved to the Raise position.
The setup of the position of the front clevis will depend on the geometry of your tongue and other factors.  There must be enough slop in the drawbar pin/clevis to allow for the hitch assembly to raise up and down a bit without binding.  The clevis in the photos has an Oval hole to allow for this.
The Doctor is probably correct that the plunger in the valve body was not free to move out once it was forced into the body.  This plunger must move freely.

Traction Booster Drawbars do work. I used one on my JD 4250 2wd to pull a 7 yard scraper. It made the difference of whether I could pull it or not. Got to have an implement with the proper tongue design

Actually, on that AC disc there should be a wear pad or foot bolted on the underside of the tongue, which rubs on the traction Booster drawbar face plate.

Should work great but your traction booster has to be working properly! Don't try too much weight transfer at first, just enough for what you need or you could bend things and/or have the front wheels too lite to steer properly

So...i have one of these im trying to put on a 210. The problem i have is the draw bar has an offset on the front so even if the pin is out it won't slide far enough ahead to attach to the front side. I could pull it back and go around the hanger but then the front of the bar isn't supported other than by the roller in the back. Are there multiple bar options and i have the wrong version or am i missing something?

I've never used one, but If it is a Cat #2  TB drawbar hung on a Cat #3 tractor, that may be the problem.
