Wife and I had decided back in Spring to take another run to Eureka Springs, this time in the Camper rather than a Hotel.  So off we went last Sunday to The Kettle Campground, just at Eureka Springs City Limits.  When I made reservation there was ONE Pull Thru large enough that was not booked so took it on faith would work.  It DID.

Sadly old RV AC did NOT for long, temps rose over 86 and the mechanism would cease cooling, go into Overdrive and then amp out trip breaker.  Learned to manually cycle and adjust temp at T-stat to maintain function until Last Evening.  High hit 94, Sun set was aimed directly at Roof Unit, Humidity crossed a narrow line to 87%, could not get to cool below 85 until close to 9pm, then coaxed to 80 and left there for the sleep hours.  Awoke twice and dropped temp into 70s where it worked but wife was done, we had 'The Talk' Came home this morning.

Will be on the RV Roof in early hours tomorrow, inspecting the External systems and wiring, perhaps have a nest of sorts sucked up to Condenser, doubtful but will go there.  Then will pull lower cover and inspect for Cross Flow Hot to Cold Side, see if have lost seals along those boundaries and finally if nothing found, ID the BTU, a Model number and see what I can get to replace this.  Couple other small issues but nothing cannot handle simply and here.

Pics of the Site and map to position.  LOADS of Loblolly Pines along the site routes, was a test of my abilities to access and egress, was just fine.

Would be On the Harley at 8-9am, be in  Restaurant, Shops, or a 'Lounge' prior to getting to Smoldering hot.  By 1pm would be back in camp to pool swim or to stroll about under the shade.  Rode thru much of Town, areas seldom visited as streets Narrow and STEEP, back to the Crescent where we stayed in 2010, lovely old Hotel, haunted BTW, Beaver Lake, the Golden Gate of the Ozarks and a few chosen spots we remembered and are still active as Pied Piper and Cathouse Bar and Grill.  The ABSOLUTE BEST Breakfast Bloody Mary money can buy.

If ever you come visit again let me know and I’ll ride a few miles with you if you like.
Usually has to be a weekend for me to ride much.

We get down at least once every few years, sometimes twice a year!!  Will make it a point to call.

Did have one FUBAR Moment at War Eagle Mill, hit a point of Rock sticking up in parking area, tall enough to catch the return spring on the Harley "Jiffy Stand" or Kick Stand, was swinging free, managed a piece of Wire from the Mill and had it sewn up enough to ride into Pig trail HD, fixed in under two hours.  Just at $100 labor and spring.

Well,,Mr TBone hisself,,,it is a pleasure to hear from you as well, Good Buddy,,,!!!
I have been here in Eureka since last December,,so it's been a bit longer than before, it has. I stay at her house and have been helping her finish the new house. There are still some ups and downs as there will be between a couple of 75 ish people that most assuredly have some "set in their ways"  issues, but am glad that those issues are still able to be worked out satisfactorily.  I STILL Thank ole THad ALL the time,,for having introduced me to her bout three years ago  and wish HIM all the luck in the world with his Honey. He does work lots pf hours but I still hold out for going to the Ozark Cafe for them great groceries,,,,!!
I had a terrible time last year with ticks as they sure like the new meat from down South.
It got very bad back in April this year when I picked up a couple of ticks that carried one of those tick borne diseases that causes some very painful burning and itching on your skin. finally had to go to a clinic in Pea Ridge and after doing LABS, they confirmed them. I cannot eat any meat from any 4 legged creature or dairy products,,,!!! Chicken, Turkey and Fish and veggies are OK but no meat!!
I now have to carry an EPIPEN, in case I have an allergic reaction to any food,,,,them Friggin Ticks,,,,,!!
The DR. told me they are seeing lots of people with these issues in this area.
I took my trk to Walmart in Berryville for oil change today and there was a family there that one of the boys had both legs almost covered with them welts like I got,,,,,
 Everybody,,lets be careful out there,,,,,

Well Joe that is (mostly) wonderful news! It has amazed me since it began that Thad had in mind this match making and he seems to have been proven right!

That’s pretty crazy what happened with the tick. An allergy like that is nothing to mess with. I think you’ll appreciate this story. We also have had a lot of ticks the last few years. Last summer I got one imbedded right in the fold of my groin. It wasn’t there very long but sure enough it was infected because I had this angry red streak going up from it. So I went to a clinic and this very pretty young doctor came in and I told her what was going on. She asked where the bite was. When I said groin she says well since it’s your groin I have to get a chaperone. Ok…..well here she comes with another pretty doctor!   Hahaha !!

Anyway, you behave. Mostly. Take care my friend.

I took our group across the Wareagle bridge a few years back. Was a couple trikes in the group. Those trikes didn’t appreciate those planks 🤣
