stopped at one this afternoon on the way home from the MIL's, got this for 75 cents, marked down from $1.50! They had a AC/DC tombstone welder that I wanted, but somebody else beat me to it for $10! The people had no idea what either one was, just trying to clean up their late parents house. Sad to think, that's how my stuff will be one day!

You do NOT want to know what went to scrap from guy 3 doors down from me,especially if you're into late 50s- mid60s Ford cars....
..sadly I'd already sold next door otherwise it'd all have come here.

Those were two bargains. I would have loved to have gotten that welder. Sadly that is probably what is going to happen to a lot of my “stuff” when I am no longer around.

I am sorry to inform you all, but 99% of the people going to yard sales would not know what that timing light is.  A tombstone welder, again 99% of the people would not know how to strike an arc or connect it in the first place.
I am a probably a dinosaur, but it is the truth.

My accountant will haul my carcass to the cemetery in my own pickup then drive to the scrap yard immediately after then hitch a ride home. My kids have the scrapper on speed dial

The same here with me also.  The kids don't know whether they are going to have an auction, dig a hole and bury it all, or just sell the whole place along with everything on it.  One price takes it all.

Bad part is I keep bringing more home all the time.  I can't stay away from an auction!
