I bought a couple pair of Walmart Levi’s earlier in the year. Both were shot in short order.
I tried the wranglers from there. They’re made much better but I need suspenders to keep them up.

i have been buying round house bibs and i need to see if they have a chore coat with buttons in stead of a zipper since carhartt discountined them .      coats with zippers welding dont work out well  especallily if you are doing overhead .      but i have been wearing 33w 34l 517 levis same size same style for 45 years  and i do not want to change

I’ve been wearing diamond gusset jeans for about 10 years. There faded but still tough. And they’re comfortable. The crotch gusset allows for better movement than standard cut jeans

I have been buying Duluth firehose pants for well more than 10 years. Sad to say the aint the same as they once were either! Maybe still among the best, but not what they once were. at one time, if you wore a pair out, they would replace them, but no longer.

I am still confident of this;
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

I bought some of those. The first several were pretty good. Yes I wore them out, but good wear. The last couple were no good but still VERY expensive. No more for me.

  I wear the flannel shirts from Duluth in the colder months and they are very comfortable and warm. I like em!!  They don't shrink or fade either. I ain't paying $90 for a pair of jeans either,,,!@!   Wink

If they’d last 3X longer like they sort of used to it would be one thing, but they do not!

Carhartt has different levels of protection, light medium, heavy, arctic, etc. You need to watch closely what you are buying. I beat the snot out of my carhartt bibs. They hold up well.

The other thing a lot of people don't realize, is leaving corrosive material (manuer, diesel fuel, oil, etc) on fabric for any extended duration of time will prematurely weaken it. In other words, throw those darn things in the wash once in a while.

I just bought 3 carhartt zipper hoodies Sunday while christmas shopping with my wife. One is normal non insulated, 2 are the fleese lined or "sherpa" as they call it. I got them at Dick's Sporting goods at the mall. Farm store selection around me is horrible. I Have to go to the mall in Lansing or the Carhartt retail store up in Carson City to get the good stuff.

I shop around and find what I consider bargains. Recently I bought 2 pair of Bib Overalls that Blains Farm Supply was discontinuing for $10 a pair. I also bought 4 heavy weight flannel shirts at Walmart for$20 per shirt. Years ago I wore nylon quilted insulated long underwear made by Osh Kosh. They quit making that and work clothes in favor of children's clothes. I found brand new military surplus quilted long underwear on Ebay for $35. I'm pretty set for winter! I don't like some of the new Carhartt work clothes,they are cut differently and don't have the pockets I like. Price is too high. Duluth Trading is out of my price range.
