Hey guys restoring I believe it might be called number nine loader for my 1950 WD - any body have a photo best way to hook up hydraulic hoses with shutoff valve

There are 2 ways I have done this.
The 2 rear lift cylinders are fed from 2 separate Ports on the Factory Valve located ahead and to the right of the Battery Box.

One way is to remove the R/H hose and 'T' it in with the L/H hose connection.

In the now MT R/H Port connect a Ball Valve and connect the single hose from the loader Lift Cylinders to this Valve.

Open this Valve when you want to use the Loader. The rear lift Cylinders will raise to the top and remain there.

When you want to use the rear lift cylinders, raise the Loader to about 3 feet off the ground, then close the added Ball Valve.

The loader should remain at that location and the rear lift cylinders will be operable.

Another way is to remove both Left and Right hoses from the Factory Valve.

Install a threaded Pipe Plug in the L/H Port.

Obtain a Single Inlet / Double Outlet Lever Type Diverter Valve.( TSC )

Plumb the single inlet of the Diverter Valve to the MT R/H Port.

Plumb one of the Diverter Outlet Ports to the single Loader Lift Hose.

Plumb the other Diverter Valve outlet Port to the 'T'd rear Lift Cylinder Hoses.

The Diverter in one position lets you use just the Loader.

The Diverter Lever in the other position locks out the Loader and lets you use the Rear Lift Cylinders.

I mounted my Diverter Valve to a flat steel Plate bolted to the side of the R/H Frame Rail just rear of the Side Belt Pulley location.

I mounted it in such a position that I could connect an old Model B Starter Rod to the Diverter Valve Lever.

That way I could operate the Diverter Valve from the Tractor Seat.
