I have a series II D17 gas with spun mains. I’d like to find a good used 226 to put back in it as my machine shop is about a year behind on work. Are there any other options out there? Diesel or gas. I’d like to keep it original and plan to rebuild the original engine but don’t want to wait on the machine shop. Thank you. I’m brand new to AC and this forum.

D17, 170, maybe a 175, or a Gleaner E. May be faster to find a different shop. Or take your chances with a used one from one of the parts sellers. AaronSEIA
