I have bought IH style vertical mufflers over the last 30 years and have them on my IH 460, AC 715B , as well as made my own manifold for my HD5G and use the same muffler on there for the 2-71 Detroit Their page gives inlet / outlet and overall sizes for many different mufflers Edited by Coke-in-MN - 31 Jul 2024 at 4:41pm |

I just bought a new muffler for my H3, found it on E-bay. Brand new, still had the (correct for my loader) part number 237407 on it. It is the oval body and low profile, maybe 3" stick up out of the hood and bolts to the side of the manifold. It did not come with the extension on up and out, you can buy it but it cost more than a section of straight pipe that works just as well.
