Will a cork from a wine bottle work on  D 17 gas gauge, or will the gas disolve it?

I've gotten a couple of the correct cork floats from Norm Meinert, about 8 bucks.

I replaced my whole gauge. When I got looking at mine, all the pivots were pretty wore so I just got a new one.

My D14 is quickly draining the battery while it sets. Any ideas why? It runs good and charges well but when it sets for a day or two the battery is dead. The battery is only a couple of years old.

Hello mhbier,
You should start a new topic for better visibility.
The simple answer is you need to start disconnecting items one by one to find the draw. The generator or alternator would be a good place to start.

I ordered a new one from All State Tractor Parts. It was like $10
190XT Series III, D17 Series IV, D15 Series II, All Crop 66 and a whole mess of equipment.
