Can Someone help me with the Diagram or how the clutch return spring works?
the clutch pedal is all the way down. it's a hydraulic clutch and there is a lever on the right side. i push that lever and the clutch pedal returns to the top. does the tractor need to be running in order for hydraulics to kick in and push the piston back ?

There is a clutch pedal return spring above the clutch pedal inside the instrument panel. The left orange colored panel must be removed to access it, after removing the lower black or brown panel first.

So the clutch return spring would hold the pedal up and keep the piston pushed in?

I never said anything about removing the cab. Remove both left and right hoods. Remove the short rear center top hood by releasing the spring hooks. Standing on the ground, open the cab door. Remove the metal strip holding down the floor mat and roll the floor mat back under the seat. Remove the black side panel that is straight in front of you. Remove some of the bolts to the black panel above the steering wheel tilt release. Now, your goal is to remove the LEFT orange side panel above the clutch pedal. This takes more bolt removal and probably another top panel to the instrument panel. The broken spring is inside that orange panel and above the clutch pedal.
