I had read once on replacing cylinder seals on the 3 point lift. Am unable to remove pin in the front of cylinder in front of axle housing. And advice?

Going to need some heat and penetrating oil. Have done it several times. Removing the floor pan and traction booster linkage helps a lot.

I know D17s4 cylinders and 175 cylinders are probably different but on my D17 i plan to just take the pin out of the rod end screw the cap out pull the rod out and leave the tube on the tractor. Am i think wrong for some reason
