The receiver hitch added to the drawbar. Harbor Freight had one for less than $20.00 that was a receiver for a step bumper. Holes lined up and bolted right on. No cutting, welding or drilling needed.
Nice job, Fred. Your B sure looks nice!

Very nice. I'm curious about the front wheels also. Are they temp-a-spares?

Fred did not like the look of the pressure cap so he took a nice old round automobile gas cap and took everything out of it and just had the shell. He cut the tips off the new pressure cap so it would fit and soldered it into the round cap. Cool idea.

very nice. I always wanted to make up some drawbar supports like yours for my B. I like it. Nice work. Now you can have fun, esp once you get past that first scratch.

The front tires are temp. spares that I got at the "junk yard" at a $20.00 investment.
I thought I would use them temporarily as long as I don't drive her over 50 MPH and no more than 2000 miles! They would be horrible wheels to use if you were working in loose soil because the back of them would fill up with dirt in no time.
I want to thank Larry for posting my pictures for me. He did a good job don't you think. Thanks
Fred Johnson

Very nice, Fred. Those front wheels, in my humble opinion, add some interest and conversation pieces to the restoration. Wish i could do a restoration in the time that you took. Bob@allisdowneast

The temp spares came off a 08 Taurus and 05-07 Ford 500 per the fellow at the "junk yard". |
