Hello folks, I have a guy up the road told me he was thinking about getting rid of his 7050. I don't know much about it hrs. Etc. I know it could use some tlc by looking at it. Pretty sure it runs and operates as it should. Tires are OK. For y'all with knowledge of these tractors what's a good place to start $$$ wise? TIA

Torque limiter seems to be a problem now at the age of the tractor, used to buy these around here pretty cheap, 3500-5000 dollar range- now seems $7500-10,000 is asking price on a good taken care of machine

Price depends on your area.  For some reason, AC tractors go very low in our area.

In my neck of the woods, It would have to be above average to get $5000 for a 7050.

Recent auction prices I've noticed go from $1600(non running) upwards $15,000 (recent engine overhaul, new torque limiter, 3 hyd outlets, working AC with updated 134a components, 540/1000 pto, LED lights, good tires & duals, etc...)
Right now, there is one listed on purplewave.com
Go to the home page of auctiontime.com.  In the upper left of it's homepage is "farm equipment".  If you move your cursor over it, a drop down menu opens. Pick "auction results". In the auction results page, click the "tractor 100-174hp." That will display all tractors sold within that category starting in alphabetic order ie.. AGCO allis, AGCO white, Allis-Chalmers, etc...  If you go to the lower part of page 6, you'll see where the 7050s begin. There are five listed there.
