CA Solid Push Rods?

Steiner sent incorrect push rods (part number mismatch).  They were 9.2 inches long and had a drilled oil hole.  The replacements they plan to send are 9.8 inches long but also still has an oil passage.  Must these be solid or is drilled ok?

Edit:  Correct for a 1952 CA is solid rods/tubes of 9.828 inches in length.

im not sure there is enough adjustment in the rocker arm screw to get an extra 1/2 inch of length on the rod... ??

or are you saying the 9.2 was SHORT and the NEW 9.8 are correct, but have a hole ?  I dont see that the HOLE is going to hurt you any with a splash lube top end.

The correct length is 9.8 for the CA.  The 9.2 length is for D10 and that series of engines.  They sent the D10 rods in the CA package (labeled as CA PN).

you look at the oil line feeding the top end. It is not very big.. You dont get a lot of flow.. It dont take much.. A few drops on the rocker now and then is adequate.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I have been working the B,C,CA AC engines for nearly 60 years now, I've yet to see one that had drilled pushrods. Stiner sold you "who knows what". There is no need for them to be drilled as there is nothing that could put oil into them. I have seen solid 1 piece, solid 2 piece and tube type ones. If you were to come by my place needing some, I'd give you a hand full. I put HD tube type ones that I remake from Dodge 225 engines in all the Hi-Performance BE/CE 138/149/160 engines I build 
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Nearly every seller of new pushrods sells the same product.  A few have a similar one that is slightly smaller in diameter.  I don't have enough info about them to know whether the contact surface is the correct curvature.  If they don't fit, then I might punt and get some used.  Two of the original are not bent, the other 6 are bent to varying degrees.  None are bent really bad.  If I have to straighten them, I can, but would prefer nice new straight ones.
