Used my gun to shoot some fresh grease in the old Dearborn disc tiller and forced out some brown grease. Glad to see grease but never seen brown before. Thanks

For what it's worth, the Deere lithium grease I use is brown.
Part time farming with a 1980 7060 and 1984 F3 hydro.

Over the years, and decades in the petroleum business, I’ve seen grease, nearly every color of the rainbow.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

I have some old Lithium grease that’s brown…
It’s from the 90s…
Otherwise when the grease is brown normally means water got in there and made rust…
