    Posted: 16 Sep 2023 at 8:45am
Hello all!
My starter button on my D-19 is frozen. I've been starting it by crossing the terminals on the back. Looking at Steiner Tractor they show a starter-headlight button but it doesn't look like mine. I have two flat terminals coming out of the back of mine. Do I have a starter/headlight switch? Could someone steer me toward the correct part number?
Thanks for your help!
Rick

Maybe try your Agco dealer, if one near you?

if you have only two terminals or screws that is a simple ON CONTACT push button switch.. There are dozens of options.. Most have two screw terminals and not spades on the back. you can get one at Auto Zone or NAPA or anywhere on line... PUSH and HOLD the button and you get contact between the two terminals, just like your jumper wire..

This is called a MOMENTARY switch.. Not and ON- OFF... Only contact while you HOLD the button down.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

It should be just a two-wire push button starter switch.  Some did have blades for spade terminals held on with the screws where you could connect ring terminals.  Your local parts store should have a starter pushbutton switch.  The parts books shows 70253322 as the part number.
