Hey yall spent 2 days going through all the topics and didn't see anything about the brake adjustment. The adjustment under the floorboard is maxed out. How do I get the the band adjustment in the rear housing?

Under the seat area should be a domed cover on both rear cases , remove the cover (2 bolts) and band adjuster should be there . 3/4 hex nut , tighten that to bring band closer to  drum . A few turns of it should tighten band

Well found the cap this is what it looks like. Apparently someone in the past tried to cut the bolts instead of taking thier time and doing it the wrong way. Started raining on me so I had to come inside. Anyone know a place I can get a new cap from this one has a hole in it. They did the same thing to the bolts on the other side as well.

Last night while I was trying to sleep which doesn't happen often I was thinking I got an old cat out here and was thinking bout cutting the flat section of it and making 2 boxes to replace them with. Are there gaskets that go under them?
