What is the Title of the Manual you are looking at ?

Can't see any need for an Industrial Tractor to have a Traction Booster System.

Most of the Industrial D-12 I-40's have a Back Hoe and / or a Front End Loader.

If the I40 or I400 would have had the factory installed 3pt it would have the traction booster. Get a manual for a D10/12 Series III and it will have the correct information that applies to the I40 & I400 models.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY
